Gaza: Families Queue for Hours as Hunger Crisis Deepens
August 7, 2026 · 3 min read

Across Gaza, community kitchens have become a lifeline. Every day, families — many of them children — queue for hours holding empty pots, hoping the food will not run out before their turn.
Aid organisations on the ground report that food supplies fall far short of need. A single hot meal or food pack can be the only meal a family receives that day.

What your giving provides
- $10 assembles one food pack — staples that sustain a family for weeks
- $25 adds winter essentials: a blanket and warm clothing
- Emergency relief donations are directed where the need is most urgent

The Prophet ﷺ said: "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbour to his side goes hungry." The ummah's neighbours are calling.
