Frequently asked questions
What is a tasbih?
A tasbih (also called misbaha) is a string of beads used to count dhikr — the remembrance of Allah, such as saying SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar. This page is a digital version: tap to count instead of moving beads.
Why count to 33 or 99?
A well-known Sunnah after each prayer is to say SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 33 or 34 times — 100 in total. The Prophet (peace be upon him) described this as a means of forgiveness (Muslim).
Is my count saved?
Yes. Your count is stored privately on your own device, so you can close the page and continue later. Nothing is uploaded.
